Notes on Liralen's visit in October 2011

Ping's review: "It was very home-style which was nice and pretty good. We had the salty soy soup, the chive turnovers, the special regional dumplings, the beef sandwiches and the pigs ears which Ryan was daring enough to try. Their selection is not huge and they were missing some things such as yo tiao (the fried crullers), scallion pancakes and the other bread products that I expect on a northern breakfast menu. However, "north" is a big word, they are a small family restaurant and my knowledge of chinese regional food is very limited so what we had may have been 100% authentic to their region and those other things are from another region in the north."
